Each spring our garden isle gifts the most amazing creation, the fiddlehead fern. Left to grow they unfurl into wild green fronds that carpet island forests. Our Fiddlehead Fern collection is celebration of the young fern, still tightly wound, perfect in shape and with a delicate spiral pattern. The fiddlehead decoration is wound by our artisans using strips of raw clay and affixed onto the form in a creative pattern. The piece is then hand-dipped and fired in our kilns. The result is an Island Stoneware original that is both delicate and strong.
